Our Wedding

Alexandra and Theodore met six years ago in 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska. They were set up as a blind date for a sorority formal at their alma mater, Creighton University. Alex and Teddy met for coffee before the formal. What was planned to be a quick meet and greet turned into a three-hour get-to-know-each-other session. Alex and Teddy were smitten from that first night, but they didn't start officially dating until the Fall.Alex and Teddy spent the rest of their college days falling in love; dates to Coneflower Creamery and Creighton basketball games, late nights in the library, followed by Candlelight mass. Alex and Teddy look back on their time at Creighton as a privilege as these were the days they learned they shared something special.Alex and Teddy bonded over their shared interest in adventure! One of their favorite memories was when they road tripped across the country from Nebraska to California. This trip created a goal to visit every national park in the country and has started an ever-evolving bucket list that they hope to chip away at throughout their marriage and with a future family.Since graduating from college, Teddy and Alex have chosen to love each other every day. They have endured and conquered multiple years of long-distance as Alex practices as a pediatric ICU nurse in Omaha and Teddy pursues his pilot career in Rapid City. Many miles, time, and commitment have been invested in their love story.After the wedding Teddy and Alex will move to Missoula Montana! Teddy accepted a position at Empire Air and Alex will work as a nurse. They are excited about their next adventure!Alex and Teddy's love story has always been built on faith, love, and commitment. Their relationship was built on "dating with intention" and choosing to love each other more each day, even more than the day before. They are so excited to share their love with their favorite people. It is an honor to celebrate with you all. We love you!

Teddy and I wanted to provide a list of hotels and accommodations in lieu of a hotel block for our wedding. The hotels listed/ provided are in Santa Rosa; providing a central location for wedding events and enjoying wine country weekend. If you prefer to be closer to the venue (Glen Lyon Winery: 2750 John Hill Rd, Glen Ellen, CA 95442) and or immerse yourself in a wine country weekend we recommend looking at hotels, Airbnbs and VRBOs in Glen Ellen or Kenwood California.

The hotel is located in downtown Santa Rosa with walkable coffee shops and restaurants. It is a beautiful property, in a central location for wedding events and enjoying a wine country weekend.
